Main Focus
I am at a point in my training that I will have more certifications to go after. This presents some challenges to prevent analysis paralysis. There are some tracks that I would like to go down specifically the Azure Network Engineer Associate and the CompTIA Network Infrastructure Professional. Thinking about these tracks is allowing me to cut down my ambition to something smaller.
Even though I know what to do, some stuff that I am working on is a lot more fun. There are four certifications left in these two tracks with the CompTIA certifications being the Network+ and the Server+. The other track involves the AZ-104 and the AZ-700 exams. The four certifications will allow me to maintain my trajectory.
Cybersecurity
Going for some more cybersecurity certifications as well. I am thinking that I would want to do some more training on the Certified in Cybersecurity exam before taking it and also going for the CompTIA Security+ and the SC-900 from Microsoft. Building a strong foundation in cybersecurity and networking will allow me to eventually become a Network Security Engineer.
Training
These certifications will help me more down the line and allow for me to get them for my future skill set. I am willing to still put in the time to train in these certifications as well as the programming that I am doing to learn Ruby, Terraform and Python more this year. I am also working on doing some training on TryHackMe and HacktheBox and want to get some more IAM and Incident Response training.
Conclusion
For the past few years I have been doing certification tests and improving my knowledge of IT systems. I have some more training that I want to do to keep up with my passion as a lifelong learner. I think that this is my year to finally get a job and overcome my anxiety and mental health issues. I’ve been doing some stretching and improving my flexibility with things like Tai Chi and Taekwondo. I am working on this because I have been stiff and need more mobility.
