This article is about my journey coming back into IT and also for my career journey, where I want to be in 2031 with the CCIE: Enterprise Infrastructure, Certified Ethical Hacker, and CISSP for my career milestones. The article also talks about 2038, which is when I would like to be a CISO, developing my craft through a Network Security Engineer skill set.

Training and Books

Working on the article has put a fresh perspective on my training and what I want to accomplish. The things that I took away from the process of writing it are that the goals are somewhat reasonable if I take 7-10 years to accomplish them, it should work with my overall career journey. I read the tenth book which was the SC-900 book and have resumed my Linux+ and CCST: IT Support books as the next two.

Update on Certifications

I am planning on taking the SC-900 next and will schedule it around the first week of May. This will let me progress with some more time on the ISO 20000 Foundation certification which I may take the first attempt in late May or early June. I am working on some studying for the Lean Six Sigma White Belt. Expecting to take that one in two to three months.

Conclusion

I am doing the articles more often and have a personal goal of doing six this year. At two, so far, this year for the articles. There will be some other certifications this year and I am planning on doing the CAPM and the Certified in Cybersecurity certifications later this year. Definitely wanting to go more into the cybersecurity and project management certifications.

Working on my skill set that is constantly evolving and my passion for lifelong learning has not subsided. There are some things that have me excited still so I will keep going forward with more certifications. Needing to do more work in programming languages and get some more things done like doing the A1 which is the first level of Spanish that I will try to accomplish.
