CCST: Networking
There is a change in my exam date for the CCST: Networking exam. I have rescheduled it to January 9th, 2024. I still have the training through the Network Technician Career Path on skillsforall.com. The changes for the new year also include going through my copy of the new CCST: Networking Study Guide along with going through some of the Udemy practice tests.
Reading and studying for the rest of the year
I’ve changed what I am reading for the rest of this year and the books that I am reading are the CCST: Networking Study Guide; Computer Networking, Eighth Edition; and for the 52nd book the CWT-100 Certified Wireless Technician Study Guide.
I am also into studying programming which will get me to the next level for Ruby, JavaScript and Python for the rest of the year which I am doing mainly on skillsforall.com. I am trying to get more into studying for the remaining items left in my study plan for the CCST: Networking.
My Reading Starting in 2024
I have chosen to read the following books to start the new year with. These are Terraform: Up and Running, Developing Solutions for Azure Exam Ref AZ-204, TCL Programming Language, JSE Certified Entry-Level JavaScript Programmer, and for the fifth book I have chosen Python Essentials 1.
I am starting the new year with programming books due to the amount of interesting books that I can read on programming and development. I am wanting to focus on building up to a good skill level in Python and JavaScript to work on Network Automation and Web Development.
Conclusion
For the changes in the new year I am choosing to make the CCST: Networking my first certification test. There are some anxiety issues that I still have with Cisco Training. This anxiety is better than it was and I have made a lot of progress while needing some more time for the CCNA. The CompTIA Network+ is still a priority for me and I want to also develop my programming skills throughout 2024.
