Certification Progress
Currently working on the CompTIA Network+ and have around half of the training completed. This is due to me still having issues around Cisco exams. I think that I am going to have to go another way to resolve these anxiety issues. I am pushing off the CCST: Networking and CCNA to later in the year while I continue my studies for the CompTIA Network+.
New Direction and Certification Planning
With my studies also continuing in cybersecurity, I’m going to get the CC, which is the Certified in Cybersecurity from (ISC)2. This will be the next certification after the Network+ that I am looking at doing. I am also still working on the AZ-900 studying that I have partially done. In addition, I am working somewhat on the N|DE which is an EC-Council certification and the PCEP to round it out. Still will be looking into the CompTIA Project+ and CWNP CWT exam training.
Will be working on investing for the time being as I have decided to not pursue a new company. I made the decision to not go forward with a company due to the 21% tax rate for capital gains which is added now in the corporate income tax. I am looking forward to a point where I can do some consulting and freelancing on the side. This is a new direction for me and might be needed before I go back to work in Network Administration.
Conclusion
While I am studying for some personal and professional goals, I have some things like Ruby and JavaScript to learn along with my additional studies in Spanish and French. With the PCEP I would have a Python Institute certification which I am looking forward to study. Getting to the point where I am doing things not just for work but for personal items. These are the Languages, Entrepreneurship, Investing, Nutrition, and Mental Health.
