About my Anxiety
I have been having some issues with my anxiety with posting on this blog and also my mental health group. I’ve found that the way to overcome this anxiety is to look back at what I have done and try to go through with my daily plans. My plans are the core of what I am doing for the day and can be changed. I am also following through on my study plans. As of right now I am studying for the CompTIA Network+ certification.
Studying
While working on my studying for the Cisco exams, I have been having some anxiety with testing and taking practice exams on the CCST: Networking exam. I have pushed out this exam to March as a placeholder. Wanting to try again by the end of the year. I am not having any anxiety studying for and taking the Network+ certification which I fully intend to do at the end of February.
The staying up at night drinking Monsters and Mountain Dew and studying for the CCNA is what I think contributed to my mental health issues mostly. That along with drinking Mountain Dew for around 6 years. I am also a type 2 diabetic and have some psych meds to take every day along with my diabetes medicine. I have been getting my sugars down since 2017 or so and don’t drink soda or energy drinks. Still having some residual issues with social anxiety though.
Conclusion
Living with type 2 diabetes and mental health has helped my with my socialization and got me in a better place both mentally and physically. I wouldn’t change the fact that I have mental health issues because it got me to where I am today. I wanted to share some of what my anxiety issues are. Usually, it is kind of a juxtaposition where I have social anxiety and need to socialize.
