How to Monetize My Blogs

Monetizing My Blogs

I have been thinking lately that I should do more things to monetize my blogs. The main ones are tutoring and writing more articles. I think that I could also write an e-book and sell it as a digital product. Trying to do more things outside my comfort zone so something like being a director or trustee of an organization is another way to monetize my blogs. By thinking of different things to do, I have been more interested in my work as it is more of a challenge.

Training

For my training I am working on just the CAPM now. I have to update my study plan and book list with the training that I have been doing. Doing more studying and think that I am wanting to add another book to the study plan. This is the PMBOK 7th Edition that I would like to read before I take the CAPM. I am on the fifteenth book so far this year and will try to read more to catch up to 20 in six months.

Planning

I am still working on my business plan and want to work on things like coaching youth football and wrestling. There are some additional things that I am doing that should be part of my business plan. I am planning to still do the USA Wrestling Copper certification this year and also maintain my both of my NFHS certifications. In addition, I will be doing the CAPM in June, the AZ-104 in September, and the CCNA Cybersecurity sometime in December.

With some of the time that I am working I will be able to put in some writing time in which I will do an e-book. This is along with some articles that are part of what I want to do for an e-book on Computer Networking. I haven’t written anything above 1,200 words so writing this e-book will be something that will push my limits. I will need around 5,000 words at least for this and will try to go over 7,500 words for this project.

Conclusion

Writing is becoming easier to me, so I think I am more prepared for writing an e-book. Doing more things to monetize my blog will help me get some money for reinvesting in my sole proprietorship. I’m thinking that by doing small changes over time I can get my business in a better spot. Another option is to do IT consulting which might work better over time.
