Training

Doing my study plan for the CAPM certification. The study plan is something that will need to be worked on more effectively. Currently, I am about 30% through the Udemy course for the CAPM certification. I am also working on doing some LinkedIn Learning courses that are for Project Management. With my studies I will also need to complete the YouTube courses that I have outlined in my study plan.

With Udemy, I am working on the CAPM Exam Prep Course and the Six Sigma: Certified Lean Six Sigma White Belt course. On LinkedIn Learning, I am doing the Learning Path called Advance Your Skills as a Project Manager. Additionally, I have about 12 minutes left on the course Why Projects Fail and How to Improve Their Success. There are also some YouTube videos that are specifically on the CAPM exam.

I am somewhat caught up on my reading and will be able to read through the books that I want to do for the CAPM certification. Currently, I am reading the Project+ book which is the seventeenth book this year. I did get the PMP PMBOK 8 Exam Prep book to do some extra reading for my CAPM exam. Adding this book is something that will help in my project management studies. 

Thoughts on Working

I am thinking that I would need to work eventually, however, I need to do some things that bring in revenue for my blogs to be supported. This mainly comes in the form of Computer Networking tutoring and as a Youth Wrestling or Youth Football Coach. I have decided that the things that I would need to do would allow me to continue what I am doing with my blogs.

These things will help monetize my blog and provide a way for me to do what I want to do like content writing. I think that I should get more into engaging my audience with social media platforms like Threads and X. Doing some training on Threads for more of a content writer context. I would like to also attend to Substack by using more short form content.

Conclusion

By doing the content writing I am fulfilling the things that I want to do that include technical training, tutoring and monetizing my blogs. This is something that I still have a passion for and will be something that I will continue doing. Working for myself is something that I would prefer to do over working for someone else.
