Working on Network+ Exam

CompTIA Network+

The Network+ exam is one of the certifications that I am studying for. I am currently about 85% to 90% of the way through the study plan. The CompTIA Network+ exam is the next one that I am taking and have scheduled it for the 9th of April, 2024. This exam is a similar exam to the CCST: Networking which I recently took and scored a 902 needing 700 to pass.

Studying for other certifications

There are some other certifications that I am working on including the AZ-900 which I am planning to take after the Network+. In addition I am working on the Certified in Cybersecurity and the CCNA exams. I have some more training materials and books to go through for those two later this year. Some of the other certs I am doing slowly are the projects for the N|DE and the CDSA. These two are from EC-Council and Hack the Box respectfully.

Reading Progress

Today, I read the last page of The Code Book which was an excellent book. I would recommend it to you guys just for some of the historical accounts of Cryptography, and it is a solid, well written book. This puts me up to 10 books read and the eleventh is the All-in-One Certified in Cybersecurity Exam Guide. The last one is the Cisco Networking Essentials, Second Edition book. Also, I would like to add the CCENT ICND1 book as a planning to read book.

Conclusion

With the CompTIA Network+ I would be getting the Network+ certification and also, since I have the CompTIA A+, I would get the CIOS which is a stackable certification from CompTIA. The CIOS is the CompTIA IT Operations Specialist and will be the fourth certification from CompTIA that I will have if I pass the exam. Looking forward to a time in the future where I could get a job and not have as much anxiety.
