Books
I am changing up some of the books that I am reading. On the 19th book now, which is the CCST: Cybersecurity book. The other changes that I am doing are getting rid of the CCNA Practice Exam book and adding the CCNA book coming out on 6-12-24. This book is the CCNA 200-301 Official Cert Guide, Volume 1, Second Edition.
I’ve read the Certified in Cybersecurity book and have the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner Study Guide (CLF-C01) and the Microsoft Endpoint Administrator (MD-102) books next. I needed to go through some of my books that I haven’t read yet. I am planning to read through some more like a Wireshark book, some ruby books and a few others.
Certifications
There are some better certifications that I am aiming to get up to. I want to do the CISSP and get two CCNP level certifications (ENT and SP) in the next 3-5 years. Also wanting to do the AZ-700 certification and the VCP-NV cert to round it out. Looking at the next 3-5 years, I would like to get some secondary goals like the MD-102, AZ-104, N|DE, SSCP and some Cisco, AWS, CompTIA and Microsoft certifications.
Conclusion
I still have some other medium goals over the next 3-5 years that would work for me, this would be like the LPI Linux Essentials and LPIC-1 to get a better stance on Linux. These certifications are attainable but will keep me busy until I can get a job. I am not having as much mental health issues and keep fairly active on studying. This is to keep my mind busy and to keep me out of trouble.
Reading the books that I am reading has become one of my main things that I do each year. I am closer than I was to completing my study plan for the CCNA and replacing the book will help me out as I have some anxiety on the Practice Exam book for the CCNA. Thinking about it, I have been progressing pretty fast this year and might be looking to get a job later in the year or early next year.
