Certifications
Nearing the end of my CompTIA Network+ training material and hoping that this will help me with the CCNA. I am almost done with the CCST: Cybersecurity training. The training for both certifications will help me get a better score on the CCNA when I take it in August or September in 2024. For the ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity, I am around halfway through the training and using the official online training.
The CompTIA Project+ is another certification that I am working on. There is about half of the training left on my study plan for the Project+. For the CCNA, I am working through the training material on Udemy and CBT Nuggets still. I could probably take the new 200-301 v1.1 CCNA exam when it comes out on August 20th.
Reading Books
I have finished some of the books and read up to the CCST: Cybersecurity book. Currently reading the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner Study Guide and wanting to get the certification eventually. There is the Microsoft Endpoint Administrator Exam Ref MD-102 book after this and also the Microsoft 365 Administrator Exam Ref MS-102 book.
On the other books that are waiting to be read are the Learn Wireshark, The Book of Ruby, Comprehensive Ruby Programming, the two Microsoft books and a Blue Team Field Manual among a few others. I have preordered the new CCNA 200-301 Study Guide, Volume 1, Second Edition that comes out in June 2024.
Conclusion
I am wanting to go for the MD-102 exam now to the point where I am feeling out if I want to go for it. This will get me another Microsoft certification to add to the MS-900 that I passed last year around this time. I am not sure what the future holds but I will try to stick to my goals and do at least a good job on the CCNA and on my other goals.
