Certification Pathways
I am thinking about the best way to work on the subjects that I will need in order to reach my ultimate goal, that is to become a CTO. Thinking about the subjects that I would need to master to get there, I want to get a CCNP Enterprise with ENCOR and ENARSI. Passing the CCNA, which I am planning on doing next, would help to get me to a point where I was at in 2014. I already had the CCNP ROUTE exam passed.
I would still want to get up to an LPIC-1 level with LPI having both the Linux Essentials and LPIC-1. For CompTIA I would want to finish the Network+ and pass that along with the Security+ and Server+. With the Microsoft certifications I would want to do the MD-102 and AZ-900 to build up my skill set. For the AZ-104 I would need the AZ-900.
Working on Certification Pathways
I have talked about the two extra certification pathways that I am wanting to do. The first being the Certified Defensive Security Analyst from HacktheBox in which I am working on the SOC Analyst Path. The second one is the N|DE from EC-Council that is the Network Defense Essentials. Wanting to do these ones and work on them to take after the Certified in Cybersecurity exam.
Conclusion
There are some additional programming certifications that I am looking at to supplement my programming ability and knowledge base. These are the Python Institute PCEP, the JS Institute JSE, and the HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate certifications. I have been planning for the CCNA which might be next after the Certified in Cybersecurity from ISC2. Additionally, I am thinking about doing the MD-102 and the PCEP certification pathways for now.
Some of the certifications would be honorable mention would be Linux Essentials, Network+ and the AZ-900. I am still wanting to do some more Microsoft certifications including the AZ-700 which is the Azure Network Engineer Associate certification. There are some things that would be on my resume that will help me stand out from the crowd.
