CCNA Changes
The CCNA 200-301 exam is being updated and will include Generational AI, Cloud Networking and Machine Learning when it comes out August 2024. I am studying for the CCNA still but have changed my main focus to more of a network security certification. This is until I can get the new training materials. In network security the certification is the ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity. It will allow me to get a secondary goal that I have for this year.
Reading Update
Doing really well and actually getting pretty far in the CCNA Certification Study Guide Exam 200-301. I am planning on making some changes to the books that I am reading. I will do the All-in-One CC Certified in Cybersecurity Exam Guide next. This will be followed by the CCNA Certification Practice Tests Exam 200-301 book. Then I plan to read the Cisco Certified Support Technician (CCST) Cybersecurity 100-160 book.
Other Changes
I am on the eighth day of TryHackMe for the streaks, and wanting to hit the 30 streak mark to get a new badge. I am getting back into doing cybersecurity CTF work on TryHackMe and HacktheBox. Training for the N|DE and the CDSA which will help me get more certs in Cybersecurity and can wait. Wanted to focus on the CCNA and CC certifications for more of a computer networking approach.
Conclusion
These changes are part of the journey and I will be better for it. There are some things that I think that I was having mental health issues with and they are still there somewhat. Main goal still is the CCNA for this year. I will be able to sit for the updated exam after the books come out. I’m excited that the CCNA is changing to more of a well balanced IT like certification with the Generative AI and Machine Learning. The Cloud Networking will be cool to get in there as well.
