Keeping up the Momentum

Books that I am Reading

There has been some changes that I have made regarding the books that I am reading. I’ve read the 28th book which was the CCNP ENCOR book and the 29th that was the Certified in Cybersecurity book. For the next books that I am reading, I am reading the CCNA 200-301, Volume 1, Second Edition book and then the CCNP Enterprise Wireless Design and Implementation book.

Certified in Cybersecurity Exam

Took the Certified in Cybersecurity Exam on Tuesday at Community College of Aurora. I did not get a high enough score to pass and did somewhat good on three of the domains. Currently on a budget and can do some more certifications later like the CCNA, Network+, and the Certified in Cybersecurity exams. To keep the momentum I could do the PCEP which is a Python Institute certification that is more affordable.

Plans for Getting a Job

Waiting on my CCNA exam to get a job and think that with the ITF+, A+, MS-900, CCST: Networking and the CCST: Cybersecurity, I could get a smaller job as a Network Technician or a Network Administrator. This could also get me off of SSDI if I wait for the 9 month period to get off Disability. I might be better able to cope with getting a job and will look into doing something so I could get my CCNA. I will keep you guys posted on what I am doing to keep my momentum.

Conclusion

In order to keep me going I am doing some more training on the Ethical Hacking Learning Path on LinkedIn Learning, the Learn to Code with Ruby Course on Udemy and various other training materials from these and CBT Nuggets. Working on getting a job is up there as something that I want to do now and I am looking forward to getting some independence back in my life.
