AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
The AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner – Foundational exam is the next certification that I am going for. I haven’t scheduled it yet, but tentatively have it penciled in for the third or fourth week of March. This exam is the first exam for the AWS certifications and will test me on my cloud computing skill set. I have been training for this exam and have a fully functional study plan that I am working on for my training.
Journaling
This blog is just one way that I am journaling, and it is also something that has evolved over time. I think that I am somewhat of a journal enthusiast and write down what I have accomplished for the day for studying or notes. Journaling is something that I do not talk too much about, but there are ways that I have been jotting down what I study and these ways are something that seems second nature now.
Content Writing
I’m thinking that I am in somewhat of a content writer role and have been doing it as owner of Aaron W. DeJong. To me I am a content creator who uses the written word instead of their voice in order to express myself. This combo of being a content writer, content creator, and a nano influencer is something that I am doing for my Owner role. In my role as Owner, I am also doing business tasks and some marketing tasks.
Studying and Reading
There have been some more changes to the amount of studying that I am doing now that I have been more engaged in my work as Owner of Aaron W. DeJong. Studying for the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner exam has been somewhat challenging and I am over halfway through the training materials. I still have some books to read for the AWS CCP exam and am on the eighth book currently. Once I reach ten books I will post my Book List on LinkedIn.
Conclusion
My working, studying, and reading are getting to the point where I am going at a good pace for the AWS CCP exam. I have also studied more for technical training and done some Docker, n8n, and Ollama training. There is also my studying on my hobbies and prompt engineering that I am working on. I need to study more for programming which I am planning on doing more in March.
As for my role as Owner of Aaron W. DeJong, I am willing to write the amount of content needed to work for this role. I could do more AI generated content but am not willing to compromise on the human touch and keep AI in more of an assistant type of role. The human touch is something that is important due to the amount of AI slop and AI hallucinations that an AI can generate. I am not willing to give up the human element of business and do AI generated content.
