AWS Training

I scheduled my AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner exam for March 26th. This will be at a testing center near me. I decided to work up to the AWS Advanced Networking Specialty certification as I want to continue my AWS training. The one between the AWS CCP and the AWS ANS certification is the AWS Solutions Architect Associate or the AWS SAA exam.

Azure Networking

I am interested more in cloud networking and will be doing the AZ-104 Azure Administrator Associate exam. This exam is the second after the AZ-900 exam that I took last year. After the AZ-104 exam is the AZ-700 exam which is the Azure Network Engineer Associate exam. This will be something that I will be doing next year as an exam that I will take.

Training

There are some training materials that I am going to go through this year. This includes the Security+ and CySA+ training materials. For the certifications that I would like to do this year, they include the AWS CCP, AZ-104, and the CCNA Cybersecurity exams. I changed my mind somewhat and will be only doing three exams this year.

The AZ-104 is the next one that I would like to do in June 2026. The last one will take some more time so I will be ready for this in November or December of this year. Choosing to do three exams in a year is something that I have done for a couple years in a row now.

Goals

As I am training for these certifications, I have come up with a better strategy. My strategy is to work on the CISSP training. This is to get some certifications related to IAM, Security Operations, and Network Security. I decided to focus on the CISSP first, the CCNP Enterprise and then my cloud networking certifications. 

Needing more certifications to attempt the CISSP I will be doing the CCNA Cybersecurity exams later in the year. By doing this I will be re-certified for my CCNA and can work on the CCNA Automation certification that would be the third Associate certification from Cisco. This will prepare me to study for the CCNP Enterprise later on.

As for the cloud networking certifications, I will be doing both the AZ-104 and the AWS CCP exams this year. After I complete the Security+ training I will be ready for the Certified in Cybersecurity exam later. I had a free attempt on this exam and did not reach the passing score. I should pass with some more study on the second attempt.

Conclusion

I will be studying more this year on programming and technical training and will be focused more on cybersecurity training. I think that developing a base in cybersecurity is something that I still need to do. Currently on the final book for the AWS CCP exams and will be my tenth book this year. The books that I am doing after will either be for the AZ-104 exam. I am interested in doing some wrestling books, I am still behind on my stack of books to read.
