Cybersecurity Training

I have been quite active on both TryHackMe and HacktheBox. This has got me at a better spot than I was in before. Both of these sites are doing more for skill development and helping me in my cybersecurity knowledge. On TryHackMe, I have a capability score of 68 and on HacktheBox I am level 34. Both websites are working for me to expand my knowledge of Cybersecurity and related domains.

Pushing myself forward has allowed me to gain more skill. I want to continue my training and keep pushing forward with my anxiety level that is getting better. I am now both an Owner and Content Writer at my sole proprietorship. Going forward with the content marketing for blog posts and articles for Aaron W. DeJong. These are my main two roles at my sole proprietorship and I have been more engaged in my work.

TryHackMe Training

I am currently a Guardian on TryHackMe with 43,662 points, 368 rooms completed and 55 Badges. My all-time, all-country rank is now 4905 with an all-time United States rank is 594. These along with my 68-capability score put me in a top 1% position on the website. With a capability score of 68 on TryHackMe I am classified as a Mid-level Security Professional.

HacktheBox Training

Having a level 34 ranking on HacktheBox is something that is a new feature. There is a new rank of which I am Skilled and have a grade 1 skill set. Also, on HacktheBox, my general percentage is at 66.9%, Offensive at 6.2%, Defensive at 4.6%, and Purple at 5.1%. For the Junior Cybersecurity Analyst path, I am at 73.8% and for the SOC Analyst path I am at 31.1% completed.

Conclusion

I have finished the thirteenth book and will be just going through the fourteenth book. This is so that I can focus more on the CAPM studies. I didn’t like the way I was reading two books at a time. My studies are somewhat better now; I still have some work to do and will attend to them more effectively.

Working on things like TryHackMe and HacktheBox as well as Udemy has helped me focus more on my skill set and what I want to accomplish in the future. For Udemy, I am on a 207-week streak. I am currently working only on the CAPM studies and will be pursuing the AZ-104 later in the year.
