Studying for Certifications
To update you guys, I have been studying for some certifications and have finished most of the Network+ and CCNA training material. There is also the second attempt for the Certified in Cybersecurity exam that I can schedule after August 13th. I am going down the cybersecurity path more and want to get into Network Defense and Ethical Hacking down the road.
Having been working on the AZ-900 and Terraform Associate certification training, I will be more than prepared for a future role as a Network Administrator. I am wanting to learn Ansible and am looking forward to training on the CBT Nuggets Adept learning platform. The work that I am putting in on LinkedIn Learning, Udemy and CBT Nuggets is helping me see my true potential.
Cybersecurity
Currently on TryHackMe, I am going through the SOC Level 1 Path and have also been working on the Jr. Penetration Tester Path. For an update on TryHackMe I am in the top 3% and have worked on HacktheBox modules as well. This is nearly everyday on both CTF Platforms and I am still working on the 90 Day Streak Badge on TryHackMe.
Reading Update
The current book that I am reading is the CCNP Enterprise Wireless Design and Implementation book which is the 31st book that I am reading for this year. I read the CCNA 200-301 Volume 1, Second Edition and am waiting for my Volume 2 pre-ordered book to come to me. In the meantime, I am wanting to read Zero Trust Security Demystified and Cybersecurity – Attack and Defense Strategies. These two books are part of my Network Defense training material.
Conclusion
Going into the AZ-900 and the HashiCorp Terraform Associate certification training will help me to get these two certifications. For an update, the main three right now that I am working on are the CCNA, the Network+ and the second take of the Certified in Cybersecurity exams. I am doing some more training also on skillsforall.com and want to finish both career paths along with some AI courses.
